Emergency Proclamation
Washington state’s COVID-19 State of Emergency Proclamation ended Oct. 31, 2022. However, COVID-19 is still present in our communities—and in our workplaces. It continues to be important for Washington state employers to plan for employees to become sick with COVID-19 and ensure that appropriate safety measures are in place to keep the rest of their workforce healthy.

Prevention (CDC), which is also recommended by the Washington State Department
