June 22, 2022 Update: The Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna COVID-19 vaccines have been authorized for use in individuals as young as 6 months by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices and the Western States Scientific Safety Review Workgroup.
